The aim of Vitality Nutrition and Acupuncture is to bring nutrition and acupuncture treatment to you and make it easy for you to access the service, therefore times are flexible and locations are not fixed in order for us to meet with you in a place that is convenient and a time that is easy for you.

Vitality Nutrition and Acupuncture has been started by Clair McEntegart; BHSc (Physiotherapy) PG Cert Nutrition, APPI Pilates instructor, Reg Phty acupuncture.

Clair McEntegart is a registered and qualified Physiotherapist, graduated 2000. She has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Nutrition through Massey University 2008. Clair is a qualified Pilates instructor. Clair is trained and practices acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and chronic problems.

Clair has a special interest in Nutrition for weight loss, medical management, fertility, ante natal and post natal women. Clair recognizes the difficulty these women have with being able to attend appointments and the un-baby friendly environments a lot of these consultations and sessions are in. This has led to the concept of 'in home' Nutrition consultations and acupuncture treatment if desired, which allows efficient time management and eliminates the problems of child care and travel to classes.

The importance in Nutrition in sport is not confined to elite sports people, but also the weekend competitor who would like to beat their personal best, extend themselves to an endurance event, or build muscle mass. All this can be achieved through adequate and researched nutrition methods.

Vitality Nutrition and Acupuncture is not aligned with any supplement brands or specific diets. All nutrition programs will be tailored to you personally, following current scientific research and personal preferences rather than fad diets. All diet advice will be practical and use foods that are available from the local supermarket.

Vitality Nutrition and Acupuncture is based in Leigh. Appointments are available from Auckland to Wellsford and Mangawhai. The option of solely online consultation means Vitality Nutrition can be used by anyone in New Zealand.
